HaLlOwEen 2009

It was a fun year! Mom was bummed we didn't go to Frightmares at Lagoon just didn't seem like Halloween with out going but it all worked out!

The boys had so much fun carving there own pumpkins this year, mom usually spends hours making spiderwebs, skeletons or graveyards but this year let them go at it and they had a ball even Dad Leonard joined in with them!

Treyton was Ghost Rider he just loves Johnny!!

Brendan was Indiana Jones our little adventurer!

And Baby Ledger was my little monkey!

They trick or treated all over Mt. View and got loads of candy and spent time with there cousin's!

They had a big sleep over with Grandma and Grandpa Larsen and went to all 3 haunted houses they had this year screamed with fear and had a ball!

I just love Halloween don't get any better than this!!!!

One Month old already!

Time has just flown by I can't believe Little Ledger is already a month old!! He had his one month checkup and is already 9lbs 8.5 0zs I was shocked he is going to be a big boy!!

Its been crazy month sleep depravation for me!

Acid reflux for him but with the meds and Charpractor he is doing much better!

His little newborn Jammies are almost all to small so I have started him in the 0- to 3 months sad to see him grow but excited at the same time!

He is learning to coo at us and loves to watch us!

So fun I am getting his newborn pics next week and will post them! Here he is in a Jammer I got that says Babies first Halloween I love them!!! So cute!

Memories of the Past!

So since I love the fall and Halloween here are some pics from the old days! I was looking at my albums to see if Ledger looked like me and found some pics of me and my brothers and sisters making sugar cookies for the holidays had to laugh where I just mentioned it in my last post how it was a tradition I hope my boys carry on with them! My first HALLOWEEN!

FaLL TiMe!!

Fall is here and it is my favorite time of year! I love the trees all gold, red, green and orange! It came so fast with the arrival of Ledger that it will be even more memorable for me!

We always making pumpkin sugar cookies every year a tradition my mom started when I was just learning to sit up! The cookies always had candy corn and red hots on them! The boys had loads of fun decorating them this year all by themselves! I normally do fall pics and go to Lagoon Fright mares but with Ledger being so small and the weather already snowy, windy, rainy and well Wyoming weather this year is going to be different!

The boys were great helpers and loaded all my containers of Halloween decorations on the lawn mower in the wagon. They brought them from the shed and helped me decorate our house for fall! WE are ready and loving every day!

Ledger is HERE!

Ledger Grant Davenport

6lbs...10oz...19 inches

The day started out great as I headed to my scheduled 36 week appointment I was nervous as to what the day would bring but had a feeling that it would be okay.

The appointment went great not dialated good to go and baby would be fine from here on out so I was so happy for that but still scared because of the previous births hadn't been!

My mom and I had a very good lunch with desert and the works at Chilis then headed home! I sat down and was working on my towels when the contractions I had been having off and on got really painful I took my contraction med and sat down and tried to relax but the pain just got worse and they got closer and closer together so I woke up Len and we rushed down to Mckay Dee to see what was going on the moon was neat a halloween moon if he wasn't born in October I will never forget the drive down and the moon shining above!

They said if I wasn't in real labor there meds would stop it so they gave me some and watched an waited which seemed like an eternity when you are in pain, the meds didn't work so she checked and I was at a 3. They then decided Ledger was coming and admitted me to a room where I had no pain med until I was at 5 plus. I layed anxious scared and excited to meet my little boy.

He arrived that morning at 12:30 and I was blessed with getting to see and hold my baby on my belly for the first time not wisked away. His hand wrapped around my finger.

They monitored him for around 4 hours and after that he was all fine and mine I was in heaven no nicu! He was perfect and so cute he was in my room and I was in shock my wish had come true. Thanks to the Doctor I seen we were able to keep my baby in until he was near full term.

Looking back as I hold you:

I sat holding you for about 2 hours in the middle of the night and thinking of the months I was so sick I couldn't hold my head up or keep anything down.

I thought about how there was negative things said about me being pregnant again and if I should have another one.

I thought about how I cried when I found out you were a boy and felt guilty cause how cute and perfect you are!

I thought of the shots I took that at first made me dizzy, naueseous, cranky and the weeks that past.

Then the bed rest when all I wanted to do was get ready for you to come by fixing your room and getting small projects done around the house before you came.

Looking back I would do it all again the months were long the days were exciting.. my appointments excitning seeing you everytime! I have been blessed with you my sweet little boy Ledger!

Baby Land Heaven!

Ledgers baby room is up and I love it! This is my first time being in my own house and getting to do a baby room that it was like having the first baby for me! I really challenged myself with painting the Palm tree and monkey on the wall! I never have painted on the wall before and love the way it turned out and happy! I am 35 wks and 5 days doing so well thanks to my doc and the medicines they have now to keep you from going into labor and preterm! So here in a few weeks we will get to meet our little Ledger~



I picked out the chair cover and had my mom sew it for me she did a great job it is so cute! The chair was Oak and she spray painted it Expresso to match so perfect!!

My Palm tree I painted and the Giraffe I seen in Jcpennys and had to have him so cute and realistic looking~

Its Back To School 2009!
Treyton started Kindergarten and I was sad and he was so happy to go! He was up early and ready to wear his new ca mo John Deere boots and clothes! He loved his Teacher and said they had recess and coloring time! The only thing he got from me he loves to color and draw! The only thing that kept me going to school. He is so happy to ride the big bus with brother! Brendan is in 3rd with Mr. Hamblin he was his normal do I have to go?? He was excited to wear his new stuff skull shirts and shoes! Hoping he likes it as the weeks go by as much as he loved Mrs. Erickson last year. Only time will tell!

School theme had to lough we have Jungle fever since Ledgers baby room is Jungle! The school is so cute I loved it!
